C-Scan Systems
Automated Ultrasonic C-Scan Imaging for Internal Defect Detection
CCNDT designs and manufactures a full range of automated ultrasonic C-scan inspection systems for non-destructive evaluation of internal defects in metals, composites, ceramics, and brazed assemblies. Our systems integrate proprietary multi-channel ultrasonic hardware, precision motion control, and advanced imaging software to deliver high-resolution C/B-scan images with full traceability.
System Architecture
Every CCNDT C-scan system is built on a fully integrated platform combining an in-house multi-channel ultrasonic mainframe, high-speed data acquisition cards, and multi-axis precision motion mechanisms. The ultrasonic host, scanning software, and complex motion controllers are all developed in-house, ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance across diverse inspection scenarios.
- In-house multi-channel ultrasonic mainframe and high-speed acquisition hardware
- Proprietary C/B-scan imaging and analysis software
- Multi-axis precision scanning frames for flat, conical, and complex geometries
- Fully integrated design from single-station prototypes to in-line production systems
Inspection Capabilities
Our C-scan systems support both pulse-echo and through-transmission modes, enabling detection of delamination, lack of bond, porosity, inclusions, and voids in a wide range of materials. Systems are available in water-immersion and water-jet (squirter) configurations, supporting 2D, 2.5D, and 3D imaging for parts ranging from small electronic packages to large aerospace panels.
